Merchants working one corridor, properly.

Safari International Trade & Consultancy Ltd is a UK-registered trading and consultancy house moving soft commodities and industrial goods between East Africa and Britain.

PART IWho we are

A desk with two ends

We are a small house by design. The people who negotiate a contract in London are the people who have stood in the drying yard in Uganda. That closeness is why we can answer on quality, timing and price the same day, instead of passing the question down a chain.

Inbound, we trade coffee, cocoa, fresh produce, cereals and milled goods out of East Africa. Outbound, we place British machinery, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and renewable energy equipment with buyers across the region.

PART IIHow we work

From washing station to warehouse door

STEP 01

Origin work

We visit the cooperatives, estates and processors we buy from, assess the season and agree terms at source.
STEP 02

Quality & sampling

Pre-shipment samples, grading and cup evaluation before a lot is committed to a buyer.
STEP 03

Contract & compliance

Clean documentation, phytosanitary and certification requirements, duty position confirmed before booking.
STEP 04

Freight & delivery

Consolidation, sea or air freight, customs clearance and delivery to the UK warehouse door.

PART IIIWhat guides us

Four standing rules

Efficiency
Clear communication and no dead time between steps.
Compliance
Regulation understood in both jurisdictions before we quote.
Mutual growth
Terms a grower can live with are terms that hold for years.
Local expertise
Networks on the ground, not a directory of contacts.
